Information we collect

- name, email, phone number, postcode, employment type, and loan purpose;
- property value, loan amount, deposit or equity, income, expenses, debt repayments, dependants, and timeframe;
- calculator results, affordability summaries, notes, consent records, and submitted enquiry details;
- bank statement file names and browser-generated affordability estimates if you choose to add them to an enquiry.
Bank statement quick check
The bank statement quick check is designed to read selected files in your browser where possible. Docked does not receive the statement file itself from the static website flow. If you submit a help request, Docked may receive the affordability summary, file names, and any details you enter manually.
Some PDFs cannot be read by the browser, especially scanned, image-based, protected, or unusual bank statement formats. In those cases, you may enter figures manually or provide documents later directly to a licensed professional.
How we use information
We use information to:
- respond to your enquiry and keep a record of your request;
- populate our lead spreadsheet and operational systems;
- connect you with a licensed broker, lender, aggregator, or authorised credit representative if you consent;
- improve Docked calculators, forms, content, and website experience;
- meet legal, compliance, and record-keeping obligations.
Referral sharing and commissions
If you consent, Docked may share your enquiry details with a licensed broker, lender, aggregator, or authorised credit representative. Docked may receive a referral fee, affiliate commission, or similar benefit if your details are referred or if you proceed with a provider.
Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect information we hold, including limiting access to enquiry records. No website, spreadsheet, email, or online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Access, correction, and deletion
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@docked.com.au. We may need to keep some records where required for legal, compliance, or legitimate business reasons.
